9x članica državne agility reprezentance, 2x z dvema psoma – osvojila številne medalje na Evropskem odprtem agility prvenstvu, v vseh treh višinskih kategorijah: zlato 2007, srebro 2006,2011, 2012 in 2014
The gang competes all over the world with great success. I was a world team member for 8 years (two times with 2 dogs), and won several medals at European Open in all three height categories (gold in 2007, silver in 2006, 2011, 2012 and 2014).
For as long as I can remember I have wanted to have a dog. My great wish finally came true more than 15 years ago, when I got Toby. After I got him I did what every book advised – I took him to dog school. And that is how it all started. It ended with me having 4 dogs, and competing in agility competitions in Slovenia and all over Europe. Although we are currently most active in agility we are busy in several other sports as well. You see, when it comes to dogs – I am a workaholic. Besides training my dogs and teaching both obedience and agility I am also a licensed IPO helper, which is something I really enjoy, but I don’t do often enough… But I am also a student at Faculty of Sports, and a big fan of theatre.
Our main activity is agility, but I try to find time several other dog sports as well. We are having fun with IPO, rally obedience, frisbee, herding, tricks and area search.
I am working as an agility and obedience instructor for several years; some of my agility students are competing in a highest level of agility (European Open and World Championship).
I do believe versatility is a very positive thing in dog training. It gives you better understanding of your dog, different training ideas, and most of all – it is FUN. I am not a big fan of rules, systems and strict methods, as I am a firm believer of an individual approach. I do believe however it is best to keep things simple and that training should always be fun for both, handler and the dog.
